    How it works

This page is preset to the classic Pomodoro rhythm: 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute short break and a 15-minute long break after four rounds. Twenty-five minutes is short enough to start even when a task feels daunting, and long enough to make real progress.

Use it for reading, revision, admin, or any task you have been putting off. Turn on auto-start breaks so you never skip rest.

    FAQ

    Why 25 minutes?

It is the interval Francesco Cirillo used when he created the Pomodoro Technique. It is a convenient starting point; adjust it if another length suits you better.

Can I use it as a plain 25 minute countdown?

Yes. Just press Start; the alarm sounds after 25 minutes. Untick auto-start breaks if you don't want a break to begin.

How many pomodoros should I do a day?

There is no fixed number. Many people find 6 to 12 focused rounds a solid day, but quality matters more than quantity.
